Pension Insurance
The law of 13 May 2008 introducing a single employee status led to the creation of a single pension insurance fund for the private sector. Thus, with effect from 1 January 2009, the four pension funds of the general scheme, namely the Insurance Institution against Old Age and Invalidity, the Pension Fund for Private Employees, the Pension Fund for Craftsmen, traders and industrialists and the Agricultural Pension Fund, were merged into the National Pension Insurance Fund (CNAP).
